TEN PHOTO USE
Anyone within the club has a right to control the user of their personal information and this is managed via our data policy.
To support club promotion, sharing of news items, for the purposes of learning or other justified use, the club and its officials may take and use photos and/or videos of club members during TEN organised events, which includes coaching sessions and club rides.
It is assumed that photos or videos taken of adults during club activities are on the understanding that these may be used by the club, although any member is able to request for this not to happen.
For any youth members of the club, consent for the use of photos or videos is expressly requested on sign-up to the club from their guardian. On any occasion when permission is not granted, or permission has not been sought, pictures will not be taken or where they are taken (e.g. a rider is in shot of another), they will not be shared.
The main reasons the club will take photos or videos include using:
-
on the TEN club website
-
on TEN social media pages
-
on TEN member communications/newsletters
-
with Scottish/British Cycling
-
for the purposes of learning at coaching sessions (these are deleted straight afterwards)
Should you have any concerns about use of photos or videos, please contact secretary@tencycling.co.uk or any of the committee or coaches via Spond.
Alternatively, if you wish to raise any concerns regarding the appropriate use of photos/videos, please contact our club wellbeing and protection officer.
